Governance and conduct

Our management team focuses on delivering results responsibly while developing leaders who meet client expectations. Leaders here promote ethical conduct and make decisions that protect the health and safety of employees and team members.

How our culture is set

Policy controls shape the attitudes and behaviour of employees and clients alike. Change reaches the organisation in three ways.

From the ground up

Employees are developed as the organisation builds a practical understanding of its own processes, operations, policies and the realities it works in.

From the top down

Leadership recognises the changes taking place in the region, across continents and worldwide, and acts on them.

Through subject-matter experts

Focused specialists are brought in, as market practice requires, to serve the interests of the organisation and everyone involved.

  • Results delivered through a natural process rather than a forced one
  • The organisation shapes its own planning and decisions
  • Strong, effective relationships with clients and employees
  • Employee confidence, and with it better productivity
  • Personal excellence, trust, reliability and accountability

Since the policy was introduced, performance at senior, mid and junior management level and the conduct of leadership have been assessed consistently. That assessment is part of the USVSCO culture, and it has produced visible changes in how we are managed.
